Karl H. Mischke

Karl Heinz Mischke Greece: October 10, 1932 - August 7, 2019. Karl is predeceased by his parents, Karl A. & Frieda (nee Jungas); brothers, Guenter & Siegfried Mischke. Survived by his wife, Giesela (nee Schulze); son, Frank (Alice) Mischke; daughter, Christine (Mark) Fitzstevens; grandchildren, Maia Fitzstevens, Miles Mischke & Liam Fitzstevens; loving family and dear friends. Karl was born in Marienburg, West Prussia and he moved to Rochester in 1953. He worked for Alliance Mold from 1953-84 and was the President of ASMAT from 1984-1994, attended Andrew Street Baptist Church, Latta Road Baptist Church and Orchard Community Baptist Church. Karl enjoyed gardening, Indy race cars, restoring cars, outdoor activities, barbeques, shopping for good deals and walks on the Florida Beach. Karl and Giesela have countless friends with whom they enjoyed fellowship and eating good food. Karl’s celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 11th 1:00 PM at Orchard Community Church, 2285 Latta Road. Private interment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Water for South Sudan (www.waterforsouthsudan.org) or Sarvodaya USA (www.sarvodayausa.org) in his memory.
