This is such a crushing loss. For over 40 years, Karen has been family to me – a second mother. Her daughters and grandchildren will feel this loss forever and it’s devastating. I will also feel this loss of a family member of mine. I take comfort knowing that she is not suffering and that she is most likely sitting on a beach enjoying the warmth, sunshine and water, listening to Ricky Nelson– her favorite things. My heart aches for everyone who knew and loved her. Until we meet again……

This news has made me feel so sad for this wonderful lady. My deepest condolences to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and I were Facebook Friends which probably started in YoVille, continued in YoWorld and our love of animals kept us close, despite different geography. Karen commented often on my posts of my many birds and I, on her wonderful pictures of the cats she loved so much. We private messaged as well and I knew she was having health issues and hospital stays at times. May this wonderful woman Rest In Peace, no longer with health issues but missed by so very many.

May you Rest in Peace now Mom 🙏 I want to thank you for the past 26 years as your son in law. We were able to experience cherished memories at family events, spontaneous dinners, and everything in between. I am going to miss making you smile and laugh because both your smile and laugh were contagious ❤️ Believe it or not, I am going to miss you reaching out to me all the time you had issues with your car, which I feel was like twice a month 😂 Thank you so much for raising a wonderful, caring, and loving daughter that I have endured with for many years of love and happiness. It is now our time to carry on your teachings and memories for years to come. This is now your time to sit back and relax next to a stunning lighthouse of your choice while you watch an endless sunset on the beach. I love you and will miss you 😘 ❤️

Karen, I will miss you always big sis. I will miss having you there on holidays and birthdays, they won’t be the same without you there. I am sure you’ll be on the beach with a warm sun enjoying eternal summer. I am also sure Mom and Gram were there to greet you, along with the rest of the family. You are pain free now.
My prayers are with all her daughters and grandchildren, I know how close all of you were to her.

Karen took care of my kids for several years when they were younger. She was more like a grandma to them, always remembered birthdays..even far after we no longer needed her to babysit! She always talked about her family, especially Adara. My kids were very saddened when I told them Karen’s passing. Thinking of you all
