Greece: Monday, February 16, 2015 at age 96. Predeceased by her husband, James L. Scorse. Survived by her son, Barry (Kathy) Scorse; grandchildren, Brian Scorse, Jill (Chris) Benson and Brad Scorse all of NC; step-grandchildren, Kristy Baker and Sean Baker; great-grandchildren, Carter and Hanley Benson; step-great-grandchild, Angelia Sanchez. Our heartfelt gratitude to Danielle Mannillo for all her care and compassion for June. June was employed by the Town of Greece for many years in the Building Department and was later secretary to former Greece Town Supervisor Don Riley. She relished spending winters with her husband in Myrtle Beach, SC and summers at the family’s cottage in Kendall, NY. Friends may call Thursday (Feb 19th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, where her Funeral Service will be held Friday 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment, Falls cemetery will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greece Volunteer Ambulance or the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in her memory.
