Ruth Garland Warren peacefully passed to her heavenly home on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the age of 95.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willard W. Warren, in 2002 after 53 years of marriage. Also predeceased by her son, Robert J. Warren, in 2018, her parents John and Paula Garland, her mother-in-law, Laura H. Warren, and her brother-in-law John Adamek.
Ruth is survived by her children Gail (George) Moore, Deborah Scordo, Mark (Joy) Warren, and Stephen (Audrey) Warren and by her sister Doris G. Adamek.
She was a loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and aunt to a niece and nephew. Ruth still has many surviving relatives in Northern Ireland.
A memorial service is planned for June 2026 at Hope Church on Vintage Lane. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626.
So sorry for your loss but I’m happy for your mom. She’s walking those streets of gold. I remember her from when I was very young. Such a nice lady. You are so very blessed to have had your mom with you for so long. Makes for lots of memories.
