Joyce M. Francis Greece: Loving wife, awesome mother, grandmother & great-grandma went home to her Lord on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at age 85. Survived by her loving husband of 63 wonderful years, Edward Francis; devoted children, Mark ( Joanne), Michael (Lori), Larry, Julie (Doug) Thurley; grandchildren, Vincent, Selene (Ryan), Heather (Mark), Michael Edward, Douglas, Michael Eric (fiancé, Alyssa), Erin & Gabriella; great- grandchildren, Emmett, Killary, Alice & Averie; brother, Arthur (Kay) Kramer; many loving family and dear friends. Joyce was a proud graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School, St. Mary’s Nursing School and worked as a Registered Nurse for Greece Central School District for 25 years. She will be dearly missed by all. Joyce’s visitation will be held Thursday, February 28th 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Rd. where prayers will be said on Friday, March 1st 8:15 AM followed by her Mass of Christian burial at St. Lawrence Church 1000 N. Greece Road at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow in Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Veterans Outreach Center www.veteransoutreachcenter.org in her memory.     I am so lucky I had the pleasure of knowing Joyce, she was one of the most amazing, strong, beautiful women I have ever met. Thank you for bringing such beauty into the world . You will forever be missed but never forgotten

    Joyce was a warm and comforting nurse during my days in Greece. I’m sure the Lord will bless her with a warm welcome as she joins Him. Prayers are offered to the family. especially Ed.
