Josephine Piccone, 93, passed away peacefully Tuesday August 2nd joining her beloved sister, parents and nephew in heaven. Josephine was a sweet, kind and gentle soul who brought a smile to everyone who knew her and loved her dearly. Her favorite things to do were spend time in her garden and window shop. In recent years, she has enjoyed the daily company of friends to warm her heart and the visits from family to remind her she was loved.
I had the pleasure of knowing Josephine for 17 years as my neighbor and friend. She was very charming and we had many wonderful conversations either in her home or outside in the yard. I especially enjoyed her stories of when she managed a medical office or recounted family memories. We also had a few shopping trips that I will always cherish. God called home this gentle angel that we were all blessed to know and experience. I will always miss her presence. Light up the sky my dear friend. I’ll be looking for you. 💕
