Rochester: Sunday, July 17 2016 at age 96. Predeceased by his wives, Marjorie Schuchardt Roth & Norma Anderson Navik. Survived by his loving children, JoAnn (Albert)Navik Wallash 7 Roy Navik; step-children, Susan Shea & John Shea; grandchildren, Alex, Elyse, Kristin & Briana; nephews, Ronald (Barb) Navik, Paul (Kerstin) Navik; niece, Judy Navik; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins; loving family & dear friends. Joseph is a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served our country in WWII as a aviator. The family would like to thank the NYS Veterans Home at Batavia for all the love and care given to Joseph. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Joseph’s visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 10-11 AM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd., Greece Chapel where his Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM in the chapel of the funeral home.
