Werner, Joseph J. Gates: Thursday, October 1, 2015. Predeceased by his parents, Norman and Mary Werner; sister, Barbara Werner. Survived by his brother, Charles E. Werner; sister, Mary C. Landers; many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; dear friends. Joe was an Army Veteran and a retiree of Eastman Kodak after 38 years. Friends may call Sunday (Oct 4th) 2-4 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:30 AM at Holy Ghost Church, 220 Coldwater Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in his memory. I worked with Joe in 29 shop in the mid 70’s. Sometimes we took field meter reading together. He tried to help me out and teach me, but I was probably too thick headed to listen!! Joe and I also had side by side benches. He was a great guy to work with.
