Chili: Unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at age 76. Survived by his wife, Margarette Hunt; children, John (Sharon) Hunt, Donna (Alan) Traister, William Hunt, Jeannette (Marshall) Zimney, Richard Lapiana and Mark (Amy) Lapiana; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Pozzanghera; brother in law, Robert Hewes; sister in law, Else (John) Vella; several nieces and nephews, many dear friends. John is a retired detective with the Rochester City Police Department.
