Evans, John R. ’The Jester’ Rochester: Saturday, July 9, 2016. Predeceased by his parents, John and Georgiana Evans; sister, Roberta; son, John Evans; son-in-law, Bob Dasch; mother and father-in-law, Fanny and Philip Caterino; brother-in-law, Sam Bonacci; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sal and Angie Caterino. Survived by his wife, Ann; son, James (Jean) Evans; daughter, Marianne Dasch; sister-in-law, Frances Bonacci; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and dear friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Friends may call Wednesday (July 13th) 6-8 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the ICU Unit at Unity Hospital in his memory. My deepest condolences to Ann and all of John’s family. John was always such a jovial, kind hearted, and lively spirited soul. His funny stories and infectious laugh made listening so much fun! To all of those that knew and loved John, he will be truly missed.
