I love you, Gramps. You always treated me with love & respect. I fondly remember our walks on the old railroad tracks, by Lake Ontario. You’ll always be in my heart.
My heart goes out to all of you. I knew Grandpa through photographs and experiences that were shared by my dear friend Doug.. The relationship he and Grandpa shared was truly special. I had the pleasure of seeing birthdays and holidays and sometimes just a random day where these two men showed their happiness in just being together. A beautiful relationship of never-ending love. I will greatly miss seeing the two of them together….always smiling and joyful. I pray that you all find peace in knowing that Grandpa’s life, was a life well lived and that your sorrow eases with the beautiful memories you shared. Much love, Angela Piscitelli
Love you Grandpa! I couldn’t think of a better person to help guide me as I was growing up. I am going to miss our 3:30 pm (your time) Sunday talks. Eric, Wesley and Courtney all say “Holla Johnny D! We love you!”. I am a better person for having grown up with you and being around you. However, I am forever going to call you “2 foot Johnny” for your lovely driving style of one foot on the brake, one foot on the gas 🙂 You are going to be in our memories and happiness for knowing and loving you. BTW-the Bills still suck and the Steelers rule! (hahahahahaha)
