Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at age 84. Predeceased by his sisters, Emily Leutz and Arlene Weaver; niece, Cynthia DePinto. Survived by his wife, Geraldine(Leaper)Leutz; son, Phillip (Coach)Leutz; nephews, James(Patricia)DePinto and Gregory(Beverly)Weaver; great nephews, Mark and Jason DePinto. No prior calling hours, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make contributions to Lake Avenue Baptist Church or to the Fairport Baptist Home in his memory.

    I had the pleasure of having worked with John when I first started at Kodak back in the early 1980’s. He was a terrific guy, with a memorable sense of humor. Nearly 40 years later, I still recall some of his sayings. It was because he was such a good man that I thought I’d check on Google to see how he was doing and was saddened to see that he had passed on. Although I am a decade late, I send my thoughts and prayers to Phil and the family.
