Aunt Connie and Family, I will miss Uncle Jack very much. His obituary was so true- he always put others before himself! There was never a kinder man than Uncle Jack. I enjoyed his company so much – whether it was talking about the latest books he’d read, or about his travels to China for Kodak, or woodworking in his basement – he was so knowledgable and enthusiastic about life. My heart goes out to all of you. He was one in a million. Love, Claire

To Ann Marie, Corrine and the rest of the Moriarty family, I am very sorry about the loss of your dad and husband, Jack. I have great memories of him and your family, both from my childhood, and into adulthood when I worked and worshiped at Our Lady of Mercy. I’m sure that now he’s with my parents and the other members of OLM who have gone back to the Lord, having a grand reunion! I will not be able to attend his funeral tomorrow, but please know that the Merritt family’s thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time.

To our dear lifetime friends: The service for Jack was the most beautiful thing I have ever been to. It was a great tribute to him and all who loved him. I couldn’t get my Mom & Dad there but they heard some of the music on my cell. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all always. Love, Rosemary & Chuck, Charlene, Roseann, Sue.

We would like to express our condolences at the loss of your husband and father. He was a friend of our family for many years-our uncle Tom Embury and father Larry, and we have fond memories of him from our years at Our Lady of Mercy Church. We will never forget his kindness when our father died. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
