I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. 30 years ago we were teammates on McDonald’s softball team. John played first base while I played second. Many of the Buono family attended the games. What great times we had and John, who was 20 years younger than I, really bonded. He was such a great ‘kid’ only 3 years older than my own son. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family.

John was so much fun and such a good person! A dance team of 4 of us won a trophy years ago at a McDonald’s marketing meeting, and I’ll always remember how hard we laughed at ourselves! I’m so sorry to the entire Buono family for your loss. He was a wonderful human being with a big heart.

My condolences to all friends, families, coworkers of John. I too was a manager at the Brockport McDs for about 6 years. John was always a very good boss, nice man, treated his staff and his customers with kindness and respect, always a smile on his face. And when I had to move, boy was it hard to leave. Lots of nice memories made. John you will be missed!
