I did not know Mr. Ryan personally, however I know his son Mark and boys do not grow up and become men of integrity and patriotism without fathers to guide them, teach them, and be ‘Dad’. For Mark to be the kind of man he is, Jack would have had to be a special person with strong values, beliefs and honor. My prayers are with your entire family. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. Philippians 3:20 & 21

I will always be grateful for having been blessed to have Jack Ryan in my life. His unparalleled love and devotion to his family and friends has taught me the true meaning of Semper Fi ~ ‘ALWAYS FAITHFUL’. Thank you for letting me be your ‘second daughter’ and for always making me feel like I was part of the family.
Miss you and love you <3
I am very fortunate and honored to have had someone as wonderful as Jack in my life for 30 years. I am blessed to have had the privilege of knowing such a caring, loving, fun and generous man. I am grateful that my own children have had Jack in their lives too. (They are going to miss his amazing breakfasts, stories of days gone by and trips to 7-Eleven for candy.) Thank you Jack for touching my life and the lives of my chidren. You will never be forgotten, you will always be loved and a Notre Dame game will never be played without me saying ‘Here’s to Jack Ryan.’ Go Irish. <3

I have known Jack for 27 years, he was like a father to me. Anyone who knew him knew what a big heart he had. He was a very special man. I don’t think that man could hate anyone. He would do anything for anybody. I am truly blessed to had the privilege and honor of calling him dad. Jack you will be forever in my heart and for ever loved by all who knew you. Thank you for taking in as one of your own. I love you Jack. May you Rest In Peace. Semper Fi
