Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.

Donna, God Bless you and your family on the loss of John. It was quite the shock to learn of his passing. He was like a big old Teddy Bear. May he rest in peace.

I’ve known John and the whole Howard family for many years, growing up together as neighbors in the tenth ward, working and partying together at Cuff’s Tavern. Many football trips, golf tournaments and after hour euchre games than I can count. Always had a way to make people laugh, but was also a good listener when you had a problem. I send my sympathy and love to the family. Rest easy big guy and please tell Frank that I miss him more than I can say. GO VIKINGS !

John will be sorely missed by those who knew him. He always brought smiles whenever he visited. Many years ago, he made sure I knew he was there for me if I needed him and I will always remember and appreciate that.

On one December day,all of our lives were changed forever. John has moved on to eternal life ,joining all that have left us in the past. We are all blessed with lifelong memories of a friend, brother, cousin or uncle. We will miss John’s smile, his chuckle ,his big heart and his presence but we will all be able to remember the guy who blessed each of us with those true memories. To Donna,Karen & Fred my heart is saddened for each of you,may each of you have the strength of the greatness John brought to us!

Only God knows why it was Uncle Johns time to join him in a much better place. Uncle John has been my surrogate father for 16 years now, and I couldn’t have asked for a better man to fill those shoes. Uncle John always had the perfect balance of coddling us when we needed it and giving us a swift kick in the butt when we needed it. I am comfortable knowing that my father Chuck is now standing by Uncle Johns side, showing him a hell of a good time. I miss you both more than words can ever express. You will never be forgotten.

He was always a happy go-lucky guy and made everyone he touched through his life better for knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace now and join all those who left before him. Love Don & Marcia

Uncle John will be missed by all of us. He was a man that could always make you smile no matter what kind of mood you were in. I will always remember him for his laugh and his smile. Know that God has embraced Uncle John into his arms as a child of his own for eternity. Only God knows the plans he has for our lives. Let us all trust in his love for us. May God bless all of us on this day of sadness. Many blessings to Uncle John and to all of our family. Much love, Jason, Ashley, & Olivia

Wow, this was a really quality post. In theory I’ d like to write like this too – taking time and actual effort to make a great article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and in no way appear to get something done.
