John C. Grentzinger Sr. Greece: December 13, 2018 at age 75. Predeceased by his parents, John J. Grentzinger and Dorothy (Tolster) Haak. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda; children, Maria (Thomas) Burian, John (Susan) & Sean Grentzinger; grandchildren, Jacob, Samantha, Riley and Dylan; brother, Jimmy Grentzinger; loving family and dear friends. John owned and operated Grentzinger Locksmith shop, he was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #2110, Brockport, Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 20, American Legion & Color Guard Post # 468, Mother of Sorrows Men’s Club and executive of the men’s club. John enjoyed camping, bowling, golfing and traveling. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. John’s visitation will be held Thursday, December 20th 3-6 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. where his Military Honors will be held at 6 PM in the funeral home. His Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, Friday, December 21st, 10:00 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Private Interment, Bath National Cemetery.
