To all of John Gallo’s family– I am so sorry to learn that your brother and uncle and fiance John has left this earthly existence at too young an age. It is not surprising, however, that he has gone on to continue his role as care-giver to his mother as he had done for eighteen years. The year 2020 will be forever etched in your hearts with sadness, as will mine. May God bless you all. With sympathy and compassion, Pat VanKouwenberg
Shallow Gallo we used to call him in the West-End, John was one of my closest and dearest friends in Jr High, Rest easy my friend, we got in a lot of trouble together back in the day.Till we meet again R.I.P. Skins
John Gallo. OMG. We were such good friends. My dad often claimed “we were joined at the hip”. Moving On was our tv show in our early days. Watching in his room on Embury Rd. Big Jim and Aunt Millie’s house. We dreamed of open road trucking he and I. CB radios and model trains. Fresh Italian bread and cold cuts. Always at the ready. I could fill a day with stories of our adventures. Camping. Chasing racing. He was a true open wheel race fan. Watkins Glen. Nazareth. Quebec. Cleveland. Toronto. Many exciting weekends. Too many good memories. I hope my friend enjoyed some of his retirement he planned at 55. I could go on and on. Rest In Peace John C. Gallo. Till we meet again. May God bless and keep you.
