Walker, John A. Greece: May 22, 2009 at age 87. Predeceased by his wife, Virginia Walker; daughter, Sharon Klueber. He is survived by his children, Kathleen (Robert) Hoffman, Virginia (Richard) Maier, Patricia (Remo) Inglese & Suzanne (River Garnsey) Wagner; grandchildren, Kristen Hoffman, Scott (Barbara) Maier, Kathryn (Sgt. Joseph) Reinsburrow; Christopher Maier, Luke Inglese, Chiara Inglese & Cameron Kohl, PO2; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Haley & Alexander; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends. John is a Veteran of the United States Marines and served in World War II. He was a lab chemist for Eastman Kodak for over 41 years, was a member of the Rochester Theatre Organ Society and was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. John volunteered for many years at Park Ridge Hospital and Unity Health, playing the organ for residents. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Meritorious Companion, Hiram Chapter NO 62 R.A.M. Friends may call Tuesday, 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday 10 A.M. at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1549 Dewey Avenue. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Service or to the American Heart Association in his memory.
I would like to offer my sincere sympathy. I am sorry that I am not able to attend John’s funeral in person. He was a very special person.

The last time I spoke to your dad was several years ago at Long Ridge Mall. I was there with my youngest daughter. I introduced myself to him and we had a good talk. We talked about our families and what they ment to us. It ment alot to me also because I too had recently lost my dad. My prayers are with you.
To John’s Family– John will be missed at the music club! His playing was always very enjoyable for us to hear. Due to health problems I will be unable to attend John’s funeral but will be thinking of you all. God bless. Evelyn Ralston
We are so sorry to here about John. We had so much fun with him and your family on English Rd.!! He’ll always remain in our hearts.
