Marciano, Joanne S. (Dretto) Greece: Thursday, August 10th, at the age of 78. Predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years Donald J. Marciano Sr.; her daughter, Ann Hemdal; Joanne is survived by her children, Susan (Arthur) Keiser, Donald J. Marciano Jr., Robert (Diane) Marciano; grandchildren, Meredith (Jeff) Klus, Amanda (Eric) Mann, Amy (Keith) Grieve, Stephanie (Rob) Warchol, Christopher (Jennie) Marciano, Michael (Kellie) Marciano, James Hemdal, Daniel (Liz) Hemdal; 11 great-grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart; her sister, Florence La Cagnina. Friends may call on Monday (Aug 14th) 4-7pm at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 250 Coldwater Rd., Rochester, NY 14624. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society or Hildebrandt Hospice Center for Caring.     I loved my dear friend Joanne. Our special friendship was a blessing to me and all the lives she touched. The love and devotion she had for her family is unparalleled. Although I’m sad that she is no longer in this world, I know that she is at peace now with the love of her life, Don. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May her memory be eternal.
