Surrounded by her family, Joanne passed away on Saturday, February 28th, 2026. At age 81, predeceased by her husbands, John Leary and Ralph Baker; parents Loretta and Joseph Updaw. She is survived by her devoted children, Anne Craver, Todd (Richelle) Leary, and Jean (Eric) Hess. Her adored grandchildren, Jason, Laura (Chris), Ashley, Jessica, Angelina, Brooke, Tyler, Alexis, John, Xavier, Erika, and Alektra; great grandchildren, Arianna, Audrey, Aleigha, Emma, Benny, Vayda, Allie, Ryder, Jamarianah, and Ja’niah; and cherished grandchildren by love Ava and Chase.

Friends may call Tuesday (March 3rd) 5-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (March 4th) 10:00 AM at St. Theodore’s Church, Gates. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Joanne’s honor.
