Joan was a lovely woman and I was honored to have known her. My condolences to her family.
Shelly, Michael & John Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom. We are heartbroken as we have all lost a wonderful women, a great friend and a "grandmother" to Danielle. She was always with a smile, even when she was hurting. She never had a harsh word to say about anyone. She is at peace, and is now a bright star in the Heavens. We will all certainly miss her deeply. Sending our love to you all
Joan was a very good friend whom I spent many h;ours of sewing with her, Robin, and Duffy. I will remember all the happy times we had making quilts and exchanging ideas and fabric. I will surely miss you. I will miss your smile and making me feel a part of sharing life.
Loved your mom through all the years that I spruced up her home! Had many wonderful conversations with her and she shared many fond memories with me of her years with John and her children. She offered numerous recipes, life lessons and wonderful books to me, all while having conversation with Duffy too! She was a happy person despite some health issues but a truly lovely, wonderful lady! I’ve missed her since I returned to full-time work. Be at peace, Joan! XOXO
