GREECE: Thursday, November 15, 2007 at age 71. Survived by her loving husband, Raymond Kole; son, Richard (Heidi) Kole; daughters, Linda (James) Albright, Patti Kole (Joseph Weber); brother-in-law, Donald Kole; sister-in-law, Christine Kole; grandchildren, Tyler & Kyle Kole, Greg, Richard & Mark Albright, Brianna & Joseph Weber; Great-grandchild, Evan Albright; niece, Denise Porter; nephew, Kenneth Kole. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 9:30 AM at St. Mark’s Church, 54 Kuhn Rd.. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY or Lifetime Care Hospice in her memory
Dear Ray, Lin, Rick, and Patti, Jim and I have been remising about all the wonderful times we have had from our camping trips to our Sunday night dinners and our trips to Buffalo to see both of your Moms/grand moms. We feel so BLESS to have been able to spend some time with our Joan this summer. We have been with you in thought and prayer through the pass months and the very difficult weeks you have all just experienced. We feel so bad that we won’t be able to be with you all Monday and Tuesday. But we are certain that you will have many friends and family there with you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Joan was such a wonderful friend and I always remember her talking about taking care of all the patients in the nursing home. (Including my Grandmother) We will be there with all of you in spirit Monday and Tuesday. We love you all. Love, Uncle Jim and Aunt Son

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Joan was very nice to me when we worked together at Hamilton Manor Nursing Home. I know she will be greatly missed. She was a blessing to everyone that she came in contact with.She will surely be missed.I will be 0praying for your family.

Mr. Kole, I am so sorry to here about your loss of Mrs. Kole. She was a great person to have known. I have so many wonderful memories of her and your family as we grew up. Ray and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Joan. Beverly called me last night. Joan is one of the sweetest ladies I had the pleasure of being friends with. She touched so many lives with love and kindness. I know we haven’t seen each other in many years,but I think of you often. We had so many good times together and I will never forget them. To my cousin Ray So sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you and your family. From what I have heard about Joan and her life, this little poem certainly applies. A beautiful life that came to an end, she died as she lived, everyone’s Friend.

What do you say at a time like this? We have known each other for so many years and shared so many memories that I cannot begin to pick one special memory.
