Sad news to hear when we are so far from home. Mrs. Bartell was our next-door neighbor growing up on Mill Rd and always had a smile for all the kids in the neighborhood. Our prayers go out to the family, and all who knew her during this time of loss, she will be missed by many, she was a great lady. God’s Speed Joan, your next journey begins and "Cowboy Joe" is there waiting to hold your hand once again. Rest in peace
I’ve known Joan Bartell for some time especially when our mates were ill and in a nursing home at. We treated ourselves to lunch . We had some good times and now Joan has time to be with her husband again. She was a great sweet lady and cared for so many. She had my grandson helping her with the outdoors outside her Mill Road at one time. She was so kind and caring and made sure she had his lunch before SHE TOOK HIM HOME. HE HAS ALWAYS ASKED ABOUT HIM BECAUSE HE HAS GONE HIS WAY AT THIS TIME. IT IS SUCH A WORRY FOR ME BUT TIME WILL TELL. SHE WAS A REAL JOY TO KNOW AS A FRIEND. GOD BLESS AND HAVE A GOOD REST JOAN YOU DESERVE IT.
