Spencerport: Went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 29, 2010 at age 40. She is survived by her loving parents, Gerald and Margaret Fischer; loving husband, Douglas Azzolina; loving daughters, Olivia and Grace Azzolina; brother, John (Dawn) Fischer; Mother-in-law, Sharon Azzolina; Brother-in-law, Daniel (Joanne) Azzolina; nephews, Jack and Charlie; several cousins; many loving friends. Friends may call Wednesday 3-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday 10:00 AM at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Road. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery, Spencerport. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Webster Comfort Care Home, Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, the American Cancer Society or the Gilda’s Club in her memory.
Dear Dawn and family, I am so sorry for your loss. May God lift your spirits at this time and may you find comfort knowing your loved one is with our ‘Savior’ the Lord Jesus. HI Doug, Not sure if you remember me from the Pep Boys Days.. I was at your wedding though.. So shocked when I read the paper this morning. I am deeply sorry to hear this sad news. I am guessing Jennifer had been sick for some time. I had thought she had conquered the cancer.. My heart goes out to you and your daughters. I am just down the street from you, so sorry we never kept in touch. other than a Christmas card. I have thought of you both so often over the years. I am a cousin of Jen’s. I am very sorry to hear of the struggle she went thru. I remember the fun times we used to have at the cabin on Labor Day for turtle soup picnic. Time goes by sooo fast. May you all find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. God Bless! Leanne (Gerald Schurr’s dghtr)

I will always remember Jennifer’s ready smile, her pleasant manner, and her willingness to always try to please whenever she was in my classes or in any school activities. She was truly a beautiful lady in looks personality, and demeanor. Sandy and I, and all our family (especially Drew, her classmate) are truly sorry for your family’s loss. We are sure that she rests in peace with the Lord.

Jennifer was a blessing and an inspiration to me. Even in her darkest hours Jenn’s love of Doug and the girls, her sense of humor and values shone through. I am one of the Tuesday morning gals from the hospice and I looked forward to visiting and laughing with her each week. She touched so many hearts. She will forever be in my heart.
Jennifer was a great friend to many of us who went to school with her and was a wonderful person. She will be missed and my condolences to her entire family.

The Fischer family is one that I will never forget from my time as librarian at HCS. I remember Jenny as a kind, caring, vibrant student. I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I’m sure Jenny wil be looking out for you from above.
