“Jennie Barchet passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at the age of 68. She passed away in Hospice care in Rochester, New York after a battle with cancer. Jennie was a loving wife, friend, and talented Singer. She is survived by her husband, Gary, her brother, Robert, her sister- in law, Pearlene, and several other family members. “Jennie’s sense of humor and honest way of approaching life is what her loved ones will miss most. Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 16th. 2021, at 7 PM, at First Bible Baptist Church, which is located at 990 Manitou Road. She will be buried on Wednesday, August 18th. 2021, at 11A.M., In Bath, N.Y. at the National Cemetery for Veterans. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in Jennie’s name at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, located at 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, N.Y. 14626.
I will miss my good friend who I cared about very much. You Jennie, were a blessing in my life. I will always remember you.
We will miss you Jennie around the neighborhood. Seeing you walking Patches in the morning. Joining you for an impromptu talk with other neighbors. Rest in Peace Jennie, your pain is gone and you are with your Mom and Dad.
