My Sister was the strongest and most courageous person I knew. She was a wonderful role model for everyone she touched. She never complained about her physical challenges. I will miss her terribly.

It was such a pleasure to meet Jean at the RPO several years ago. We became great friends through our common interests. We traveled together and enjoyed driving out to Lake Ontario. I will miss my dear friend. Marj Wallace

Having been Kathy’s neighbor in Virgina I had the pleasure of getting to know Jean. She was a great person, my sincerest condolence to the family. May she rest in peace.

Jean was a lifelong friend and a truly kind soul. My children called her “Grandma Jean,” and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will miss her greatly and cherish the memories we shared.

My grandma was a loving, kind soul. She was always giving everything she had to make the lives of her friends and family better. I will never forget the tradition of making christmas cookies, or the many trips that I look back so fondly on. In the moment, they were activities and vacations that I did not want to participate in or enjoy. Over time, I came to realize that these were moments of learning. Lifetime experiences. Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Adirondacks, Hawaii, San Francisco. Moments in time that I was able to experience with my grandma; moments that she made better through her presence. She had infinite love to give to myself, Tarran, and Keegan. The three of us are better people because of her. She also left a mark on everyone she met, and she never shied away from sharing an opinion. She was an imperfect person in an imperfect world, but damn it she was an amazing grandma. Her humanity enabled me to learn and grow at every stage of my life. I owe her everything. I love you, grandma.
