Gus, Sandy, Steve and John, There are a thousand things that I would like to be for you..but most importantly is just being someone you can talk to. The way Jeanne was always here for me. There are so many things that I would like to do for you… and so many things that I would like to say and give and share. But for today I want you each to know that I promise to be your friend for life. I’ll always be here, and I’ll always care! When I read this ‘Philosophy of Happiness’ by Eleanor Roosevelt it reminded me of Jeanne. May I share it with you. I have never given very deep thought to a philosophy of life, thought I have a few ideas that I think are useful to me. one is that you do whatever comes your way to do as well as you can, and another is that you think as little as psooible about yourself and as much as possible about other people and about things that are interesting. The third is that you get more joy out of giving joy to others and should put a good deal of thoughtinto the happiness that you are able to give. Thank you Jeanne for the memories I hold in my heart today (wedding showers, baby showers, holiday parties, etc. etc. ) of past years and thank you for giving so lovingly of yourself to our precious daughter and grandchilden. We all love you so much and will truly miss you! Love Joanne and Family

I would like to express my sincere condolences on the passing of Jean. I didn’t know her personally, but from what I understand from my Dad, she was the most kind and thoughtful person ever. She always thought about and sent him special care packages and home made goodies during and after the passing of my sick Mother. She was a wonderful next door neighbor to him, and I know he will miss her terribly as well. May she rest in peace and be treated in heaven as lovingly as she treated others.
