Alicata, Janet ‘Jennie’ Greece: Wednesday, June 3, 2015; 12 days prior to the age of 94. Predeceased by her loving husband, Ned Alicata; brothers, Paul, John & Anthony Pellittiere; sister, Frances Morreale. Survived by her son, Samuel Alicata; daughters & sons-in-law, Connie (Anthony) Peluso & Vivian (Richard) Lombardo; grandchildren, Samuel & Janelle (fiancé Adam Dame) Alicata; their mother, Michele Alicata; Jill (Daniel) Wegman, Janet (Michael) Militello, Michele (Steve) Meissner & Richard (Christie) Lombardo; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael & Charles Pellittiere; sister-in-law, Mary Pellittiere; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jennie was a dedicated employee to Wegmans Food Co. for over 27 years. She enjoyed cooking, loved spending time with her family and traveling the world with Ned. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the caregivers at the Wegman Cottage 100 @ Park Ridge Living Center. Jennie’s visitation will be held Sunday, June 7th 2-6 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd., Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 8th 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wegman Cottages @ Park Ridge Living Center, 1555 Long Pond Rd. Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory.     Dear Family…we are so sorry for your loss. Despite the fact that Jennie was a petite person, she had a big heart and big love for her family, and will be missed in a very big way. We always enjoyed having her at our family gatherings all these years. Our love & prayers go out to you all.
