Betty Jane and I were saddened to learn of the passing of our beloved IOOF Sister Jane Glenney. As is the case of many of our sisters and brothers in our fraternity, the infrequency of our meetings is in no way a measure of our affection and love. Jane was a true leader among us and her presence will be sorely missed. May the fond recollections of Jane’s deeds and good life console her family and friends at this time of great loss. Martin & Betty Jane Elson
Bill and family of Jane Glenney We send our sincere sympathy for your loss. Jane was truly a wonderful Rebekah and hard worker in everything she did. She will be missed.
Bill and Family, I will miss Jane, she was a wonderful lady, she helped me in the Rebekahs and will be truly missed by all. I have many wonderful memories of the time I spent with her and Bill, traveling across the country and back and the talks we had. I am so sorry for you loss.
Dave and I are so sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. We spent many happy hours with Jane and Bill, at their home and on the boats. Jane always impressed us with her focus on family and friends. We,as the Canadian boat people, were generously accepted into her circle of friends without reservation. Her feisty spirit defined who she was. Condolences to Bill, Billy, Andy, Janie, Sean and their families.

Dear Bill and family,
Jane brought to us many years of joy, laughter, such a good generous friend. The curling club, she worked with me for a time, many party boat bondings. Loved the moment uplifting everyone around her. Will miss her forever.
Dear Bill and family: What wonderful memories we have of Jane…always there with a helping hand. She opened her home to fellow women curlers, helped on so many bonspiels, sewed outfits for skits. Jane was generous with her time and talents. She was a dedicated employee and loyal friend. She will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who loved her so dearly.
Dear Bill and Family
We are so sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. We very much enjoyed our times with you all. You welcomed us to your home when we came from Canada to curl and then for many years to follow. Jane was a most generous hostess and we enjoyed our times there as well as your visits here. Jane will be very much missed, however will remain in our hearts forever.

Dear Bill, Billie, Andy, Janie and Sean: We are so sorry for your loss and will miss Jane very much. Met Jane, Bill and Sean for the first time in 1986 for a curling date that lasted 10 years then continued to present. Dan and I were accepted into your family attending many special family functions as well as the boat outings, trips together and meeting all the very special friends. Please know we are thinking of you at this very sad time. I will miss my ‘mum’ !
I was so sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. She was a wonderful lady. I was one of the Canadian girls that came to Rochester starting sometime in the 90’s. She invited us to our home and we had so much fun!! My thoughts and prayers to Bill and the entire Glenney Family at this sad time.
On behalf of myself and the entire Grand Lodge of the State of New York IOOF Executive Committee we can’t begin to express our sympathies for the loss of Sister Jane. She could always light up a room and will be greatly missed. Myself I am happy for the time I recently got to spend with her. Please accept our utmost condolences during this time of loss.

Was so saddened when I heard that Sister (‘Auntie’) Jane had passed. It’s still hard for me to believe it. Spent many hours at Jane’s home (a wonderful hostess along with all her other attributes!)telling stories, laughing, or just discussing life. She was always the first one to volunteer to pick me up and deliver me back to the Amtrak stations whenever I traveled to western part of state. Can go on & on about Jane, but wish to take this time to send my love to Bill, her children, grandchildren and all her family and friends. Jane was a gift God sent to us here on earth – now she will be with Him for eternity. Rest in peace special person. Love ya much. Irene
We Rebekah’s will surely miss Jane. She was so kind to me and how she made us laugh. Bless you Bill and children.

I and my family sends you our thoughts and prayers. Ma Jane made many of my dresses for Theta Rho Assembly. She was always a part of my Theta Rho/ Rebekah life right from the beginning. It will not be the same with her!
We all, at Space Travelers Bowling League which for a long long time was at Maiden Lanes and now at Dewey Gardens, express our sorrow upon hearing of Jane’s passing. Jane and I started bowling when our children were babies. I will miss her. Elsie Jones
