James William Kramer "Jim"

Greece:  August 18, 2023 at age 84.  Went home to be with the Lord, his wife of 53 years, Patricia Kramer and son, James W. Kramer Jr.  He is survived by his daughters, Marcia (Mike) Rickard, Gail (Paul) Oberlies; grandchildren, Sierra, Brandon, Logan Rickard, Paul Jr., Patrick (Amy), Nicholas, Kaylee and Brian Oberlies; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Charles Oberlies; many loving family and dear friends.

Jim was a proud veteran of the United States Marines, he retired from Eastman Kodak and was the past club President of the Cleveland Browns Backers.  He enjoyed repairing children’s toys and small appliances. He loved to write poems and took great pride in them.  He will be deeply missed.

Jim’s Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 26th 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrow Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd.  Private interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.  For more information and to sign his online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com

    To Gail and Marcie and families, So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing, he was a good neighbor and friend for many years. I spoke to him earlier this year, he called once in a while to catch up and see how we were doing (and to trade Wildwood Dr. stories). Jim was a good guy who always looked out for me and gave logical advice when I was a rambunctious kid and young adult. Paula sent me his obit, I was out of town last week. She sends her regards also.
