James R. Kanous: 1933-2024, went home to be with his lord and savior, Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Jim leaves behind his wife Carole, of 72 years; his son, Michael (Jan); daughters, Charlene Lockhart (Terry), Kathleen Fox (Frank) Karen Baier (Tom) as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday (June 2nd) 1-3 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, where his Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Jim’s name to Aurora House Comfort Care Home 2495 S. Union Street Spencerport, NY 14559 www.aurorahousewmc.com. in his memory.

I’m so sorry for your loss ! Your Dad was awesome. I can remember Kathy an I watching scary movie on TV an he would wait for the scarey part to come an he would scare us ! Then we would laugh . I always liked him . He was always happy !
