James M. Lasponara, a lifelong resident of Greece, NY, passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on November 28, 1953, he was the son of the late Rocco and Mary (Federation) Lasponara.
James had a dedicated career as a machine operator at General Motors, Rochester Products Plant. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing the guitar with his brother Jerry, collecting watches, and repairing lawn mowers and other small engines.
He is predeceased by his parents, Rocco and Mary Lasponara; his brothers, Jerry Lasponara and Jack Holzgartner.
James is survived by his son, Michael Lasponara; sisters, Theresa Moore and Marlene Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Jim’s dear friends, Vikki, Bob, and Steven, for their unwavering friendship and support. Your kindness and care meant the world to Jim, and we are forever grateful.
His Funeral Service will be held Thursday (July 11th) 11:00 AM in the chapel of Vay Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Private Interment.
James, you leave us but we will remember you. Since you were little and loved hanging around your brother Jerry’s friends. Great laugh and no badness in your heart we love you 🥰
