James Lee Jordain

Entered into rest peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness on March 30, 2016. He is predeceased by his parents, William & Eva, His brothers Richard & Robert & Grandchildren William Jr, & Olivia Marie. Sister Mable Merrill. Survived by his loving wife Joann, of 45 years. 11 children, Dennis, Tony (Jen), Richard, Jeff, Frank (Stacy), Jimmy (Kris), Bobby (Stacy), Kevin, Judy, Billy (Sarah), Kim (Matt). Many Grandchildren & great grandchildren. Sister, Dorothy (Chuck) Morter. His niece, Joyce Brennan. Sister in laws Betty & Lucille. His long time friend Terry Carter (Robin), Bambi, and many others. He was a devoted truck driver, who worked very hard, long hours to support his family. He was always there if you needed him. He was always loving, and caring for his family. We will miss his funny faces, great jokes, and him always making us laugh. He was the family comedian. He loved hunting, driving his tractor trailer, football, laughing, listening to country music and his favorite singer Elvis. One of his favorite places to eat was Schaller’s. James was a veteran of the United States Army. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him. James’ visitation will be held Wednesday April 6th 5-8 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 7th, 10:30 AM at Holy Apostles Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
