Rochester: Passed away, November 20, 2013 at age 61 after a long illness. James is predeceased by his father, Anthony P. DeSalvo. He is survived by his two loving sons, James (Savannah) DeSalvo & Joseph (Stacey) DeSalvo; his loving mother, Margaret DeSalvo; brothers, Samuel (Frances), Anthony (Deborah), Albert, William (Sharon), Lawrence (Sandra) & John DeSalvo; sister, Marylou (Joe Fantauzzo) Tomsic; grandchildren, Ethan, Jakob, Sophie; godson, Michael DeSalvo; goddaughter, Danielle Bedient; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; many dear friends. Jim graduated from Edison Tech High School, worked at Amico Pizza before joining Federal Express where he retired after 27 years. His family would like to express a sincere thank you to Angels, Sharon Holmes and loving brother, Billy. James’ visitation will be held Sunday, November 24th, 1-4 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 25th, 10 A.M. in Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held privately.     I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

    I can totally relate to your pain at this time. Jim was a great person who was funny and kind spirited. He always had something witty to say.
