He sucessfully completed the program as the Distinguished Graduate and went on for advance training to become a fighter pilot. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Just found out today, 8/15/2016 that Jim had passed away. He and I were in the same squadron in Rapid City. SD in the 1957-59 period. He was a fun guy in those days and sounds like he was the rest of his life. I’m in touch with serval old squadron mates most of whom retired from the Air Force. I went back to civilian life in 1959 and back to college. Later flew for the airlines until retiring in 1995. Glad we found out about Jim but sorry he is good. Much Sympathy. Barry
