Rochester: Saturday, march 23, 2013. Predeceased by her son, James; daughter-in-law, Debora. Survived by her husband, Bernard A. Rhoades; children, Randy Rhoades, Bernard Rhoades, Dawn Rhoades; granddaughter, Jeanne Rhoades (Brad); 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Prayer Service will follow calling Wednesday 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Private Interment, West Webster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
I will never forget Nan. She was a grandmother to me when Jeanne and I were best friends when we were in junior high. She treated me as one of her own and I spent many of days and nights hanging and swimming over her house. She was a great women and will be truly missed.
