Herman J. Hayes

Greece: Sunday, February 9, 2009 at age 90. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Clara Hayes; children, Cheryl Gleffe (Al Smith), Roger Hayes, Brenda Hayes; grandchildren, Margo (Steve) Phelan, Landon Gleffe, David (Rebecca) Gleffe; great-grandchildren, Nadia Gleffe and Kara Gleffe; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Edna Tina Wilson Living Cneter, Country Wing for the loving care given to Herman. Friends may call Thursday 3:00 – 6:30 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will follow calling hours at 6:30 PM in the Chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1549 Dewey Ave. in his memory.
