My sincere sympathy to cousins Marty and Cathy and the entire family at this difficult time. The passing of Aunt Helen closes the book on a generation of hard working and fun loving family. She and Uncle Al (my godfather) played a leading role in a period of growing up for my brothers and me. They were my parents best friends and we were together all the time.
Helen DeConinck’s life was a perfect example of always putting family first. She is now together once again holding hands with her Albert, as she liked to call him. This time it is for eternity.
Rest in peace Aunt Helen. You will be remembered forever.

To Marty and Cathy, I remember your Mother with great fondness, what a kind generous person she was I especially recall the great laugh she had and her excellent cooking. I will never forget how thoughtful she was to me. My condolences to you both.

Your mom was a wonderful person. My sympathy and prayers are with you and your family. I will always have a small piece of your mom with me, I have her fruitcake recipe.

Remembering all the fond memories of our beloved Aunt Helen: all the wonderful family Thanksgiving dinners when she always had room for one more; playing on the farm as young children…down by the creek, across the old, wooden footbridge, through the greenhouses, in the barns, and into the wide open spaces of the fields; Stopping into get pumpkins every fall and flowers every spring; playing with Sam; and as I got older, just stopping in for tea and a hug and a hello. There’s great comfort in knowing you are now home with Our Lord and your mom & dad, your beloved husband, and your brothers.
Loving you always and remembering you forever Aunt Helen.
    xo Mary
