North Chili: Monday, October 10, 2011. Predeceased by her husband, Harry; brothers; Edward and Paul; sister, Evelyn. Survived by her sister, Carrol Houle; many nieces and nephews; many cousins and dear friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Cottage Grove in North Chili for the loving care given to Helen. No prior calling. Her Prayer Service will be held Thursday 10:30 AM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Presbyterian Home, Cottage Grove, Memory Care Unit in her memory.
Helen was such a lovely lady and always had a smile on her face. My mother is a resident at Cottage Grove and Helen was always so kind to her. She will be missed by all at Cottage Grove & the families & friends who came to visit.
I am so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. She and my mom and Julia were like the ‘3 Musketeers’ at Cottage Grove as they always sat near each other. Helen always helped my mom with Bingo and she always had a friendly smile for me every time I visited. She will be missed. Helen’s house will not be the same without Helen. God Bless all of you!
I am the daughter of a resident at Helen’s House, Cottage Grove and I would like to thank Helen for being such a nice lady and friend to my Mom when she arrived at Cottage Grove. I will certainly miss her pleasant smile and her laughter. She will be missed.
My prayers go out to Helen’s family. Especially her sister Carol who is like a Mom to me. Helen will be missed alot She was an amazing person to know even if it was only for a short time.
