Greece: July 28, 2009 at age 87. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Maginn. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Karen, Thomas and Peg, Paul and Lynn; daughters and sons-in-law, Anne Mary and Gary Conte, Kathleen and Ralph Merritt, Eileen and Paul Byers; sister, Betty Garback; brother-in-law, William Hoysic; sister-in-law, Helen McGrane; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends. Nona’s family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of St. Ann’s Home, 5th Floor, for their outstanding care and support over the past year. Friends may call Thursday 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday 10:30 A.M. in the Chapel of St. Ann’s Home, 1500 Portland Avenue. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ann’s Home Foundation, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester New York 14621 in her memory.

The Maginn family has been part of our lives for as long as we can remember. ‘Nona’ has been one of God’s earth angels. Now she is one of His heavenly ones. She will be missed by the countless people she has touched throughout the years. May God grant her heavenly peace as she joins her husband Ray in heavenly peace.
