Rochester: Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at age 93. Predeceased by his wife, Mary N. Powell. Survived by his son, Douglas G. Powell; daughter, Barbara (Frank) Farina; brother, Nolan Powell; several nieces, nephews and cousins; several loving relatives and friends. Gray served aboard the USS Chenango (CVE-28) during World War II. He was an Electrical Engineer with Eastman Kodak for 44 years and a Past Commander of American Legion Post #468. Friends may call Sunday (December 29th) 1-4 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Committal Prayer and Military Honors will be held Monday privately at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in his memory.     Gray will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A man of honor, integrity and accomplishments who left a wonderful legacy in his children. Our prayers are with him and his family. May he rest in peace.
