Greece: Thursday, November 27, 2014. Gordon was a resident at Fleming Point Independent Living Facility in town of Greece, served in Army during WWII and Korean Conflict in 772nd Military Police Battalion. Predeceased by wife Elizabeth Doupé. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Ruth Doupé; granddaughters, Melanie Gaiser of Amherst NH and Jennifer Carson of Mason OH; great-granddaughter Annika Carson; dear friends. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday (Dec 4th) 10:00 AM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Entombment, Riverside Cemetery. GORDIES ABILITY TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH WILL NEVER BE FORGOTEN BY THOSE OF US WHO WORKED WITH HIM IN PLATE MFG,BLDG.49.HE WAS LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. AS HIS SUPERVISOR FOR MANY YEARS, I CANNOT REMEMBER ANYONE WHO COULD OUTWORK GORDY. HE WAS ONE IN A MILLION!!
