Hwalek, Gertrude Greece: August 27, 2011 at age 91. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Stanley Hwalek; son, Robert (Linda) Hwalek; daughter, Karen (Geoffrey) Barrow; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Friends may call Tuesday, August 30th, 9:30-11:30 A.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday, August 30th, 12 NOON at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow Mass.
