Rochester: Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at age 91. Predeceased by his parents, Charles & Justina; brother, Fred; nephew, Steven. Survived by his wife Ann of 68 years; his children, Mary Eileen Nettnin (James), Sharon Congdon, David Eisele (Lisa), Amy Malta (Tom West); grandchildren, Rachel & Austin, Nathan, Emily & Ryan, Danielle & Sheldon, Lauren & John, Lexi, Abbie & Joe; great-grandchildren, Mason, Harper, Lawson, Audra, Blake, and Clara; nieces Karen and Connie.

He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company. He was a member of the KWVA Chapter 1 and VFW Post 16. Gerard enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, gardening, crossword puzzles, and his famous Christmas village

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (Sept 21st) 10:30 AM in the Chapel of St. Anns Home, 1500 Portland Avenue. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Veterans Outreach Center in his memory.

    Oh Mr. Eisele, so sorry to hear you left this world. You certainly left it a much better world, at least our corner of it. Such a kind man, you took an interest in my life when I was young and made a big impact on me. When going through a hard time, you walked with me along the beach and was there to listen. You and Mrs. Eisele were like second parents to me through grade school, and then when you were our Youth Encounter leaders. I never forgot you or Mrs. Eisele, and I know your family is going to have a large void to fill. Rest in Peace Mr. Eisele, and thanks for being there.
