Gerri has been a lifelong friend… I’ve known her since I was 4 years old. She was a great cook and LOVED ‘viewing’ all her holiday decorations. Gerri was a beautiful person (inside and out). Feel so blessed to have had her as a neighbor for years… Gerri ALWAYS remembered us and our 3 kids – extremely thoughtful. She will be greatly missed.
I grew up in the same neighborhood with Geraldine, who was like a big sister to all of us kids. She was always kind and generous to all of us and she is fondly remembered. One time she took a bunch of us kids to a Rochester Gas & Electric Christmas party for children, where we all had a great time! I’m 67 now, but I still remember that occasion like it was yesterday! I know that she is in heaven now with her beloved family and hugging all the children. John Heberger
I will miss Gerri’s daily visits to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For years Fred, Gerri and Phyllis would attend monthly meetings of the Kodak Stamp Club. We would have some of the best discussions about German Stamps. May they all be at peace.
I’m also a ‘neighborhood kid’ and am greatly saddened by Geri’s passing. She was a genuinely good person and always fun to be with. I remember feeeling like a grown-up because I was invited to attend her wedding when I was quite young. Her caring and her friendship will be missed. Rest in peace, Geri
