Greece: January 25, 2012 at age 65. Survived by wife of 40 years, Diane Gibbons; children, Adam (Gem) Gibbons of Mississippi, Sara Gibbons, Jill Gibbons & Grant Gibbons; grandchildren, Christian, Daniel, Landon & Dawson; sister, Mary Jane (Thomas) Wilson; sister-in-law, Sharon Gibbons; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard (Joan) Kohl; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Gerald is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served our country in the Vietnam War. His family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff and caregivers at Hill Haven Nursing Home (South 1) for their outstanding care and support over the past nine years. Services and interment held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heritage Christian Services (HeritageChristianServices.org) in his memory.
