Gearge was a wonderful guy. He was a loyal friend, kind, steady, decent and talented. What a loss to his family and friends. Lauren Judson

George was about one of the most honest men I ever met, and a good friend for a number of years. May he rest comfortablly and his family be comforted in the knowledge that they are not alone in missing him.

I met George at his house in naples , unfortunatley it was a short visit because he had fallen from a ladder fixing something, but i do know he has a loving family , and i would here lots of memories they have of him..which will stay alive in their hearts forever, I pray for your family George for peace and knowing you are free from pain..

I met George in 1996, and we have been the best of friends every since. He was always full of fun, loved adventures and enjoyed having secrets. Most of all he was a friend you could count on any time of the day or night. He was a very spiritual person who believed that some day he would be in heaven. I was with George as he suffered with cancer. He accepted the pain and said it would help him get to heaven. I’m sure the Lord met him with the open arms. I will truly miss George, and the wonderful times we had in Naples, the place he built on the hill, the place he called home, the place he loved to be.

I tried to find the words in a poem song or quote But no one has the words for the relationship we boast I tried to find the words in story tale or lore But for my father they need to say more I tried to find the words in prayer blessing or hymn But even they did not have the words nothing to describe him I tried to find the words in my soul mind and heart But even I cannot convey The grief now we’re apart Everything has changed now it will never be the same But no matter the time that’s passed I’ll remember your life soul and name

Poppy was my grandfather. He wasn’t like a grandpa, he was more of a best friend/ secondary father to me. We had so many different and amazing memories that i will never forget. From horseback riding to him pulling me on the sled hooked up to the ATV in Naples to him having me sit on his lap on the tractor and having me drive while he deals with the gears and gas/brake. He was always there for me from school rewards to the summer fun. I will never forget him. I love you Poppy.

Poppy was so full of life and very active. We have tons of wonderful memories, but it just doesn’t seem enough. Poppy fought until the very last second. We love you Dad and I am truly happy you are in a better place and finally let go to your other family that was waiting patiently for you in heaven. Please make sure you take good care of the those pearly gates so that they don’t squeak and they open and shut just perfect.
