I was so sorry to learn of George’s passing. He was one of the nicest people I ever had the privilege to know. I knew him from Barcrest Drive where Jeffrey used to hit golf balls in the backyard – right over the farmer’s orchard in back of us. As the paper said, he was a devoted husband & father..I always remember him saying ‘your’re absolutely right Doreen’ the reason they never had a fight….Love to all, Corinne

To the Sluman family: I’m not sure if you’re dad wouldv’e remembered me in passing here in Naples or back in the days in Rochester. I remember him well as he was, and always will be my late stepfather, James Walsh’s best friend. I remember many wonderful stories about George as Jim would remind me of their special times shared. Lucky #7 I believe was what Jim called him. My condolences extend to all of your family and may time heal your hearts & fill them with wonderful memories. God Bless

Wayne, Brad, Jeff, and family, I am so sorry for your loss. George was a special man and boy did we all have some fun with him and Doe. They opened their hearts and home to me in a time of need. Never to be forgotten. I am sorry that is the way we had to all be together last night but I loved seeing all of you and your beautiful family’s. It makes me realize how much I miss all of you and all the great times. Doe is putting on her lipstick and fixing her hair waiting to great him. Heaven will be smiling & rockin tonight.
