Aunt Jean is my Great Aunt, I have many memories, and the one that makes me laugh the most is when I was at my Grandma Zavacki’s house. Aunt Jean was sitting in the chair and I remember asking her how old she was and she told me ’29!’ I was dumb founded, I thought to my self she is a lot older than that! So I said something about it, and she told me. ‘Honey a women never tells her real age, I am 29 and will always be 29 no matter how old I get! Today when kids at my school ask me how old I am, I say 29 and always think of that story. I will miss you Aunt Jean! Love Denise
Aunt Jean was my mother’s (Agnes) sister. We had some wonderful times either in the old Dutchtown neighborhood or at the farm in Webster. Our thoughts and prayers are with her.
I was saddened and shocked to learn of Aunt Jean’s passing. I am the youngest surviving nephew. I have many fond memories of our family gatherings in old Dutch Town and on Aunt Jean’s farm in Webster. Unfortunately I am unable to attend Saturday’s services. If contributions to a charity are being sought, please notify me. I will make a donation in Aunt Jean’s memory to Father Baker’s in Lackawanna. I am sure she is in heaven joining my Mom and her brothers and sisters. Dennis J. Michalski
